On my last blog post I gave you tips on how to ball out at Coachella on a budget , this time around I decided to sell my Coachella weekend 1 ticket (hence, Beyonce announced her pregnancy and was no longer headlining this year's Coachella lineup) and go to Coachella parties instead since I did not get a chance to attend any parties/events last year. I guess you can say I did "No chella" at Coachella and it was EPIC!
I live in Los Angeles so luckily for me it was nothing to do a quick day trip to Palm Springs to get in on the festivities, I hit up my fellow blogger babe Dominique of Dominique's Vanity Corner and asked her if she wanted to roll to Palm Springs and get some dope content and of course party (work hard play hard, right?). I got invited to POPSUGAR's Cabana Club pool party at the Colony Palms Hotel, I took a barre class at the Coachella Wellness Lounge before attending the PopSugar event, and I ended my night at Jeremy Scott's Tidal X MOSCHINO party at the Corona Yacht Club.
POPSUGAR's Cabana Club was a lot of fun, GRAMMY award winning singer Daya performed and I literally got there as soon as her performance started! Drinks were overflowing thanks to Three Olives Vodka and I got a bunch of super cute gifts from featured custom activations from ULTA Beauty, Nordstrom, and POPSUGAR Must Have. I was obsessed with the ULTA Beauty activation, the floral swing created by The Blooming Gypsy was EVERY-THING! Of course no event is complete without a swag bag, a few of my favorite gifts from the event would have to be the Perricone MD Hydrating Cloud Cream, Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Opal, and the "Power Your Happy" book by the founder of POPSUGAR, Lisa Sugar (because I've actually been wanting to give it a read). Be sure to visit my Instagram as I am a doing a giveaway with some of these items included in my beauty and wellness giveaway.
I ended the night at fashion designer Jeremy Scott's MOSCHINO Coachella after party powered by TIDAL (No big deal). The party went on until 4AM with an open bar sponsored by Absolute Vodka and performances by Lil Uzivert and Lil Yachty, a huge slide photo activation sponsored by Candy Crush. I had such a great time, thanks TIDAL for the invite!
I honestly don't know how I pulled off a full day of festivities (I left LA at 10AM and got back home 5AM on Sunday) but it was all so worth it. I met some cool people along the way, ran into some familiar faces that I haven't seen in awhile, got a ton of free goodies, and bonded with a fellow blogger babe. I will say if you're not into the "hype" of Coachella you should definitely go experience the parties and events if you haven't before because there really is something going on for everyone that weekend (like who knew you could get your zen on or take a SoulCycle class before you turn up for the remainder of the day, it's all about balance).
What is your favorite part of Coachella weekend?
